We have recently activated special software for delivery of notices to members and residents via the Internet. This program speeds up communications and reduces mailing/printing costs.

Accordingly, here are our guidelines regarding our e-mail practices:

• Our sendings are strictly permission-based. We never sell, rent or give away your contact information. If you ever want to leave our subscription list, we always have an unsubscribe icon at the bottom of each newsletter.
• We respect your privacy. All of the information you provide us, including your email address, will be kept completely confidential and will never be shared with any third parties. 
• Each spouse may register with separate e-mail addresses. 
• Register your home and work addresses if you like. Most corporate firewalls allow the e-mail to pass.

OPT-IN CONFIRMATION

nTarget, our e-mail service provider, has a new procedure to ensure that all sign-ups are permission-based.

When a person changes (or adds) an e-mail address, they receive an immediate e-mail advising:

"CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK to confirm that you would like to subscribe to this list and receive future emails from ONSC. If you don't, you will NOT get any further e-mail from ONSC."

For instance, when Pat Leonard changed her e-mail recently, she did not click on the link to confirm. Therefore, she has not been receiving ONSC e-mails of late.

Please bear with us...If someone says they aren't getting e-mails from ONSC, ask them if they remembered to CLICK to CONFIRM.
