Hole #1 | Par 5
Handicap: 11
On this par 5, the drive should favor the right side of the fairway to avoid the fairway bunker on the left. Long hitters can hit the green in two if they can needle their shot in between the green’s protective bunkers.
Hole #2 | Par 4
Handicap: 3
The golfer should favor the right side of the fairway to avoid the water hazard and bunker on the left. A short to mid iron will be required for the approach shot into the green.
Hole #3 | Par 3
Handicap: 15
This long par 3 requires an accurate tee shot into the middle of the green. The miss should be short right to avoid the greenside bunker and the slope off the back of the green.
Hole #4 | Par 5
Handicap: 5
This par 5 requires an accurate tee shot down the middle-to-left side of the fairway. Beware on your second shot; the fairway slightly slopes to the right into a hazard area.
Hole #5 | Par 4
Handicap: 13
The middle-to-left side of the fairway should be the aiming point on this par 4. There is a slope in the middle of the fairway that can add more yardage to the tee ball. Pay attention to pin placement on the green as it’s narrow but long.
Hole #6 | Par 4
Handicap: 9
In order to have a clear path into the green, keep the tee shot on the left side of the fairway. On the approach, the miss shot should be to the right side of the green due to the deep greenside bunker on the left.
Hole #7 | Par 3
Handicap: 17
This short par 3 requires the golfer to go down a half club to club due to the downhill shot into the green. Be aware of the pin location as there is a slope in the middle of the green.
Hole #8 | Par 4
Handicap: 7
A placement shot is needed on this narrow par 4 to avoid the tree on the left and the fairway bunkers on the right. On the approach take more club as it’s an elevated green.
Hole #9 | Par 4
Handicap: 1
The number one handicap hole requires a tee shot down the middle-left hand side of the fairway to avoid the fairway bunker on the right. The miss on the approach shot would be the right side of the green because of the deep greenside bunker on the left.
Hole #10 | Par 4
Handicap: 6
This tee shot requires placement because of the fairway bunkers. On the approach, watch out for the false front on this green.
Hole #11 | Par 5
Handicap: 10
This par 5 can be reachable in two if the fairway bunkers are avoided. The pin placement is important because of the size of the green.
Hole #12 | Par 4
Handicap: 16
This short par 4 may require a fairway wood for some golfers to avoid the fairway bunkers on the left and right side. The approach is elevated so extra club may be needed.
Hole #13 | Par 4
Handicap: 12
The right side of the fairway is the best placement on this par 4. On your approach shot, the miss should be on the right side of the green to avoid the greenside bunker.
Hole #14 | Par 3
Handicap: 18
This downhill par 3 requires the golfer to club down. Play the ball more to the right for the member’s bounce.
Hole #15 | Par 4
Handicap: 4
On this par 4, the tee shot should favor the middle to left side of the fairway. A club up may be necessary to carry the front greenside bunker.
Hole #16 | Par 4
Handicap: 2
This tee shot requires accuracy so it’s best to hit a fairway wood or hybrid off the tee. Longer hitters need to be wary of driving it through the fairway into the water. On the approach shot, aim more to the right because everything feeds to the left.
Hole #17 | Par 3
Handicap: 14
This daunting par 3 requires the golfer to pay attention to the wind coming off the lake. Also, pin placement is important to pay attention to.
Hole #18 | Par 5
Handicap: 8
Although the green is visible from the tee box, the golfer has to go around Badin Lake to reach the signature hole’s green. Risky golfers can reach the green in two, but for those who like to play it safe a layup down the right side of the fairway will have a nice wedge into the green.
